Job description

TEKsystems is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support a fast-paced team driving telecom and infrastructure projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and takes pride in keeping projects organized and on track.

This resource can work 100% remotely, supporting typical daytime business hours in the Alaska Time Zone, Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate project activities including materials, inventory, and workflow tracking
  • Maintain and update project documentation (schedules, drawings, permits, charters, etc.)
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and operational issues
  • Partner with engineering, site acquisition teams, contractors, and vendors to meet timelines
  • Track circuit orders, purchase orders, and materials delivery
  • Ensure regulatory and company compliance across project documentation
  • Audit and validate site and project data
  • Support administrative tasks such as meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and documentation

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination, construction, telecom, inventory/warehouse, or related field
  • At least 1 year working in a professional office environment
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
  • Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability
  • Self-motivated with a drive to learn and grow

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree in Business or related field preferred

Nice To Have

  • Telecom Industry certifications
  • Experience with project tracking systems and data validation
  • Background supporting telecom or infrastructure projects

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
