Job Summary
The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for a wide array of tasks supporting end-users primarily located in the USA via phone, email, and chat. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues ranging from simple password resets to more complex technical problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer support requests via phone, email, and chat.
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user technical issues.
- Triage and escalate issues as needed.
- Provide support to remote end-users.
Experience Required
- 1-2 years of helpdesk or call center experience.
- 1-2 years of experience with help desk ticketing tools (e.g., Service Now).
- Experience supporting remote end-users.
- Experience working effectively as part of a remote team.
Skills Required
- Troubleshooting common Windows-related issues.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory.
- Working knowledge of Domain hierarchy.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with remote meeting software (Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx, Zoom).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to learn and troubleshoot custom applications.
- Typing skills are a plus.
Non-Technical Requirements
- Excellent "people skills" with the ability to communicate effectively with users of all technical skill levels.
- Strong listening skills to understand user needs and perspectives.
- A sense of urgency to resolve issues and restore user productivity.
Hardware Requirements
- Secure, quiet home office location.
- Personal high-speed internet connection (hotspots or public Wi-Fi are not acceptable).
- Cell phone with good reception.
- Speakers/Mic for clear audio communication (a USB headset will be provided).
Job Type & Location
- Contract position.
- Based in Coppell, TX.
- Must live in the DFW area.
- Hybrid position: Requires 2 days per week in the office.
Pay and Benefits
- Pay Range: $16.25 - $18.00 per hour.
