Web Content Specialist (Contract, Remote)

Important: This role is 100% remote but cannot employ candidates residing in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Dakota, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Washington D.C., or Wyoming.

Our client seeks a Junior Web Content Specialist to support daily website content management operations for an initial 6-month contract. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with foundational knowledge eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage website content via Contentful CMS, including edits and updates.
  • Update digital documentation, including PDFs.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) for web content accessibility.
  • Conduct link integrity checks.
  • Ensure web content aligns with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams.

Top Skills Required:

  • 1-3 years of experience (maximum) in corporate digital content management (internships with large brands accepted).
  • Proactive, self-starter mentality with a drive to identify and pursue tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable asking questions in a remote environment.
  • Experience with a Content Management System (CMS) such as Contentful, Sitecore, WordPress, Drupal, or Adobe Experience Manager.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in the healthcare or other highly-regulated industries.
  • Direct experience with Contentful CMS.

  • Contract position based in Madison, WI.
  • Fully remote.

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour.
