Position Overview

Location: 100% Remote

Clearance: Minimum Public Trust Required

Job Type: Full-Time

Target Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000

This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and/or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salary.

Position Summary

Junior Backup / Storage Engineer (1-3 yrs) with experience supporting enterprise backup, restore, and storage operations across on-prem, data center, and hybrid environments, including execution of backups, restorations, and integrity validation aligned to RTO/RPO requirements.

Required Skills

• Familiarity with disaster recovery (planning, testing, execution) and experience supporting 24x7 operations/on-call environments.
• Ability to follow runbooks, SOPs, and change management processes in compliance-driven environments.

Required Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with infrastructure, database, network, cloud, and incident teams, maintaining documentation and operational records.
• Bachelor's degree (IT/CS/Engineering or related, or equivalent experience).
• 1-3 years relevant experience supporting enterprise backup, restore, and storage operations across on-prem, data center, and hybrid environments.
