Role Overview

Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Senior Manager for our Seattle, WA location. This role is responsible for administering, designing, and engineering our Citrix/Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) farms to deliver applications to remote users across corporate sites, branch offices, and outsourced locations.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with business teams to provide technology solutions for application delivery.
  • Utilize the full suite of Citrix and Virtual products, including Citrix Cloud (DaaS), ControlUP, LiquidWare, Citrix App Layering, Azure, and VMWare ESX/VCenter.
  • Manage servers and desktops within a VMware ESX environment, supporting a user base of 65,000+ colleagues.
  • Lead a diverse team of industry experts and define the strategic direction of Citrix infrastructure.
  • Align engineering initiatives with broader IT and business goals.
  • Promote team development, oversee hiring, and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Drive automation and optimization of operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (networking, security, desktop support, applications).
  • Communicate technical concepts to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot programs.
  • Hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Information Systems, Computers, Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of experience.
  • Experience in:
    • Administration of Citrix farms via management console.
    • Citrix infrastructure design for large-scale deployments.
    • Citrix management utilities (License Server, PVS, ControlUP, Cloud Connectors, App Layering).
    • Managing Citrix NetScaler (access gateway, ssl/vpn, ICA proxy, load-balancing).
    • Terminal Server Licensing and User Profile management (WEM and UPM).
    • Virtualizing and streaming applications (MS App-V and Citrix App Layering).
    • Scripting for automation, deployments, and reporting.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $138,300 - $230,500 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus plan.
