We are seeking a U.S.-based Business Development Representative to support outbound relationship-building and executive outreach across LinkedIn and phone.

About the Role

This is a hands-on outbound business development role focused on personally executing daily outreach, initiating conversations, and securing qualified introductory meetings with CEOs, founders, investors, and senior executives.

The role combines LinkedIn outreach with high-volume phone-based prospecting and requires consistent daily execution, confidence, professionalism, and strong communication skills.

You will work closely with leadership to help expand executive relationships, generate new business opportunities, and open doors to high-value conversations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments and is comfortable engaging senior-level decision-makers with professionalism and credibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Send personalized LinkedIn outreach messages using firm-approved messaging
  • Conduct outbound phone calls to prospective clients and executive leaders
  • Maintain consistent, high-volume daily outreach across LinkedIn and phone channels
  • Research and identify prospective client targets aligned with firm positioning and targeting priorities
  • Build and refine prospect lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other prospecting tools
  • Generate qualified business opportunities, including re-engaging past relationships and dormant opportunities
  • Ask thoughtful qualifying questions to better understand executive priorities, positioning needs, and business objectives
  • Distribute select outreach materials, including executive insights presentations and CEO Parlour invitations
  • Secure qualified introductory meetings for firm leadership
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, outreach tracking, and pipeline activity
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine outreach messaging, positioning, and targeting strategy

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States
  • 5+ years of experience in outbound business development, sales prospecting, executive outreach, or lead generation
  • Proven experience securing meetings with senior decision-makers
  • Experience owning top-of-funnel pipeline development and outbound prospecting activities
  • Hands-on experience using LinkedIn as a primary outbound prospecting channel
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound phone calls daily
  • Energized by conversation and able to quickly build rapport with prospective clients and senior executives.
  • Confident engaging CEOs, founders, investors, and executive-level audiences
  • Experience building prospect lists and identifying qualified targets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in a highly execution-focused role with significant daily outreach activity
  • Must present as polished, credible, and professional on LinkedIn
  • Willing to update LinkedIn profile with an approved The KA Consulting Group affiliation/title
  • Willing to post light professional affiliation updates related to the firm

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of booking 10+ qualified meetings per month through outbound outreach
  • Experience engaging executive-level audiences or high-net-worth individuals
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar outbound prospecting tools
  • Strong personalization and relationship-building skills in outreach communication
  • Creative and resourceful in developing outreach approaches and breaking into target accounts
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve outreach efficiency, personalization, and research
  • Able to identify executive priorities, business challenges, and positioning opportunities during outreach conversations
  • Comfortable operating in entrepreneurial, fast-moving, high-growth environments
  • Self-managed, proactive, and highly organized
  • Proven ability to maintain consistency in high-volume outreach environments
  • Motivated by performance targets, outbound activity goals, and opportunity creation
  • Experience generating qualified meetings through outbound phone and LinkedIn outreach

Compensation Structure

  • Hourly compensation ranging from $25--$40 USD/hour, depending on experience
  • Additional commission for each secured qualified meeting
  • Strong performance may lead to expanded opportunities with the firm

Work Setup

This is a remote position. Candidates must be based in the United States and able to work standard business hours aligned with Central or Eastern Time zones.
