Assistant Media Planner – Paid Social Influencers & Offline/Brand Media

Remote: PST, MST or CST Time Zone Only

Duration: Through the end of 2026 with likely extension

Pay rate: $38 - $45 per hour

The Sage Groups' Client, the leading family fintech company on a mission to help parents raise financially smart kids. With our client, parents can automate allowance, manage chores, set flexible spend controls, and invest for their family's future. Kids and teens learn to earn, save, spend wisely, and invest.

We believe every child should have the opportunity to become financially healthy and happy. It's no small task, and that's why we leap out of bed every morning to come to work. Because creating a better, brighter future for the next generation depends on it.

We're looking for a detail-oriented, execution-focused Assistant Media Planner to join our growing marketing team. This role sits at the intersection of brand media and offline growth performance channels, with a focus on paid social influencer media- and is built for someone who loves the operational side of media: keeping programs running, vendors accountable, and campaigns moving. You'll report to the Director of Growth, Offline & Brand Media, and work closely with internal creative, social teams, analytics, and finance stakeholders.

This is a doer role. You won't be setting the overarching media strategy, you'll be making sure it gets executed flawlessly day in and day out across performance focused influencer partnerships, streaming audio, podcasts, out-of-home placements, and local sponsorships.

Your day-to-day:

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with social influencer partner agencies, keeping deliverables on track, creative deadlines met, campaign launches on time, and communication tight.
  • Support influencer agency; creative briefing, influencer vetting, content reviews, overseeing additional team members review, organic social, paid social UCG creative engine and contract deal execution, in partnership with the performance, brand, compliance, and finance teams.
  • Monitor influencer content going live; verify brand guidelines are followed, confirm post timing, and document proof of performance.
  • Own ad trafficking across influencer and offline channels: set up UTMs, implement pixels, manage tracking links, and ensure accurate attribution for all placements.
  • Brief the internal creative team on influencer and offline campaign needs, including messaging guidance, asset specs, and deadlines.
  • Manage reporting across paid social influencer and offline media programs --- pulling data, QA data, surfacing performance insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Handle campaign billing and reconciliation: process invoices, track spend against budget, and flag variances to the Media lead.
  • In addition to coordinating needs for podcasts, streaming audio, OOH and local sponsorship placements (including local youth sports league activations) ensuring creative, logistics, planning, legal, compliance & finances are buttoned up.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 2--3 years of experience in media planning, buying, reporting, or campaign management, ideally at a media agency focused on brand/ top of funnel/ social influencer brands and tactics.
  • Hands on experience with paid social influencer media from a media perspective --- you've measured it, tracked it, and helped negotiate it. You understand how to evaluate influencer performance beyond likes and views. You understand how to think of this channel as a performance channel, not just a brand channel.
  • Experience with Agentio or a comparable influencer media platform (e.g., Creator.co, Grin, #paid, AspireIQ). Agentio experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong grasp of performance measurement fundamentals: UTM parameters, pixel implementation, QAing, MTA and MMM attribution modeling, and reporting.
  • Experience building and maintaining campaign reports. Comfortable pulling data from multiple sources and presenting clearly.
  • Familiarity with billing and invoice reconciliation processes.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail- you can manage multiple active campaigns simultaneously without dropping balls.
  • Eye for creative execution, brief requirements being met, understanding of consumers at large, social trends, and what will and will not work on social/brand platforms.
  • Strong communicator who can hold vendors accountable, give clear creative briefs, and keep internal stakeholders in the loop.

Nice-to-have skills we'd love:

  • Experience with streaming audio or podcast advertising (buying, trafficking, or reporting). Light experience is totally fine --- we'll help you grow it.
  • Familiarity with out-of-home (OOH) media or local/community sponsorships. This is a very small and highly teachable piece of our program.
  • Exposure to family, parenting, kids, or fintech brands is a plus but not required. Direct to consumer and online sales media planning required.
  • Experience with tools like Asana, Slack, or similar project management and collaboration platforms.

Who we are:

It takes a special team to aim for a never-been-done-before mission like ours. We're looking for people who love working together because they know it makes us stronger, people who look to others and ask, "How can I help?" and then "How can we make this even better?" If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and help create a world where every child grows up to be happy and healthy in money and life, apply to join our team.
