Profile

Configuration Manager (Service Management, ITIL, Service Configuration Management, CMDB, ServiceNow: may change over the time).

Security Clearance

Is required (security screening procedure must be initiated within first 45 days of assignment) - CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL.

Place of Performance

Remote.

Duration of the Mission

50 months.

Award Criteria

40% Price / 60% Quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum level of education: Level 4.
  • Minimum English language skills (CEFR): C1.
  • Minimum IT relevant professional experience: 5 years.
  • Minimum experience at similar position: 2 years.

Rate

  • NWH: 319,42€/day (220 days x 3 years + 260 days in 4th year).
  • EWH: 558,99€/day.

Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge

  • Excellent practical knowledge of IT Service Management, in particular Service Configuration Management.
  • Practical experience customizing and describing Service Configuration Management practice to be followed by the organization.
  • Practical experience implementing and managing CMDB.
  • Practical knowledge and experience implementing and managing Service Configuration Management and CMDB in ITSM solution.
  • Well understanding of the management of the IT services across their lifecycle.
  • Well understanding of complex information systems and their interoperability.

  • CMDB Data Quality Ownership - proven experience and examples of actions concluded.
  • CI lifecycle and Governance Enforcement.
  • Practical experience in the integration of CMDB with Change Enablement.
  • Practical knowledge of Data Source Management and Automated discovery.
  • Practical experience in creating and mapping Services and Dependencies.
  • Proven experience in CMDB Reporting and Audit Support.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of ServiceNOW Configuration Management and CMDB.

Typical Tasks and Responsibilities

Service Configuration Management and CMDB Administration

  • Accountability for Service Configuration Management and CMDB.
  • Defining, executing, monitoring, and continuously improving Service Configuration Management practices.
  • Ensuring that the CMDB contains accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
  • Ensuring that service trees, service maps, and configuration relationships are maintained and updated.
  • Ensuring that Service Configuration Management processes and CMDB structures are properly reflected within the ITSM solution.

Reporting

  • Setting up and reporting on Service Configuration Management and CMDB KPIs.

Documentation and Process Management

  • Preparing required policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) supporting Service Configuration Management practices.
  • Contributing to other ITIL practices and process improvement initiatives.
  • Creating and maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Other specific duties as assigned by supervisor.
