Join Our Network of Bridal Alteration Professionals
We are looking for skilled independent alteration professionals in Germantown, WI, who specialize in bridal and wedding wear to join our growing network.
What You'll Do
- Alterations: Perform expert alterations on wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses, including hemming, bustling, bodice/waist adjustments, straps, cups, and zippers.
- Specialized Work: Work with complex, structured bridal gowns featuring multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning, and tulle.
- Client Interaction: Conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate project timelines clearly.
- Quality Control: Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace suitable for client fittings.
We also receive requests for prom dresses, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, suits, and other formalwear.
Requirements
- Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations.
- Strong garment construction knowledge and precision measuring skills.
- Proficiency in both machine and hand sewing.
- Professional communication and excellent customer service skills.
