Join Our Network of Independent Bridal Seamstresses
We are looking for skilled independent alteration professionals in Ruskin, FL, who specialize in bridal and wedding wear.
What You'll Do
- Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses (hemming, bustle, bodice/waist, straps, cups, zippers).
- Work with structured bridal gowns, including those with multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning, and tulle.
- Conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly.
- Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace suitable for fittings.
We also receive requests for prom dresses, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, suits, and other formalwear.
Requirements
- Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations.
- Strong garment construction knowledge and precision measuring skills.
- Proficiency in both machine and hand sewing.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
