The Role: Telehealth Medical Nurse Practitioner

Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Medical Services, TimelyCare is seeking a Telehealth Medical Nurse Practitioner to provide clinical evaluation, assessment, and treatment to members, students, faculty, and staff via our virtual platform.

Location: Remote (Work from home)

  • Requires a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace free from distractions.
  • Must maintain own internet with approved speed requirements.
  • Successful completion of credentialing, onboarding, and training is mandatory.
  • Adherence to HIPAA compliance and all company policies and procedures is required.

Schedule: Full-time, averaging 40 clinical hours per week.

  • Option 1: Weekend Coverage: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (shifts between 6:00 am - 11:00 pm CST)
  • Option 2: Evening Coverage: Monday - Friday (primarily shifts between 12:00 pm - 12:00 am CST)
  • Option 3: Open Coverage: Flexible, 24/7 availability with a focus on weekdays.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide synchronous and asynchronous clinical evaluation, assessment, and treatment to patients within your states of licensure.
  • Prescribe medications as indicated.
  • Accurately document patient encounters in the EHR platform.

What You Bring:

  • Current licensure as a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP).
  • 30-state licenses required; 40-state licenses preferred.
  • Nursing Compact License.
  • Individual NPI number.
  • Active Prescriptive Authority to Prescribe Medications.
  • Strong communication and diagnostic skills.
  • Independent practice authority in California is preferred.
