The Role

Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Medical Services, TimelyCare is seeking a Seasonal Medical Nurse Practitioner to provide clinical evaluation, assessment, and treatment to members, students, faculty, and staff via the TimelyCare platform. While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, significant preference will be given to those holding 40 licenses for broader outreach.

Location

This is a remote position. Work-from-home criteria include maintaining your own internet with approved speed requirements, a secure and HIPAA-compliant workspace free from distractions, and successful completion of credentialing, onboarding, and training. Adherence to HIPAA compliance and all company policies and procedures is mandatory.

Schedule

This full-time seasonal role averages 40 clinical hours per week, with defined work periods:

  • August 1 – December 15
  • January 15 – May 30

What You'll Do

  • Provide synchronous and asynchronous clinical evaluation, assessment, and treatment to patients in your states of licensure.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications when indicated.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in the EHR platform.

What You Bring

  • Current licensure as a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP).
  • 30 state licenses required; 40 state licenses preferred.
  • Nursing Compact License.
  • Individual NPI number.
  • Active Prescriptive Authority to Prescribe Medications.
  • Strong communication and diagnostic skills.
  • Independent practice authority in CA preferred.
