About the Role

The Titan Group provides a broad range of services across the whole wealth value chain—from financial planning and investment management to platform, trading, settlement, and custody services. Titan Wealth Planning (TWP), a subsidiary of Titan Wealth, is expanding rapidly and is looking for a talented individual based in Edinburgh to join our team.

The main purpose of this role is to research and write advice reports, support the training and development of the team, and take an active role in maintaining paraplanning tools and reference material. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step up to the next level as a Paraplanner.

Responsibilities

  • Draft suitability reports with guidance from the Financial Planner, in accordance with all compliance and departmental requirements.
  • Liaise with Financial Planners to ensure all information is complete and accurate.
  • Assist in the interpretation of client meetings and prepare suitable recommendations with a high level of accuracy.
  • Provide guidance to advisers on specific cases to support good consumer outcomes.
  • Ensure the customer experience follows the Group's defined standards and TCF is maintained.
  • Maintain excellent data quality and compliant performance.
  • Update workflow records to facilitate accurate management information.
  • Manage workloads and liaise with the Line Manager regarding capacity.
  • Promote best practice for adviser support and client-facing processes.
  • Obtain data for existing policies/schemes and perform analysis/research.
  • Obtain illustrations and Key Features documentation.
  • Maintain technical and industry knowledge.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, or training support for Paraplanners.
  • Act as a model of excellence and ensure Group process adherence.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve paraplanning processes.

Experience Required

  • 1+ years of experience in a Paraplanning role in a similar environment.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • Experience working with IT systems supporting this service.
  • High level of technical knowledge across the full range of advice.
  • High-level understanding of FCA COB rules.
