Toast is seeking an experienced Sports and Entertainment Enterprise Account Executive to join their team. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and selling to prospects, contributing to business success by achieving sales and profitability objectives within assigned accounts and different vertices. Strong communication skills, a customer service attitude, and a results-driven approach are essential.
A Day In The Life (Responsibilities)
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts and business verticals.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Collaborate with the management team and key stakeholders to develop market expansion plans aligned with company goals and capabilities.
- Schedule meetings with potential clients, understanding their needs and concerns.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on products/services.
- Generate frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
- Ensure product availability for sales and demonstrations.
- Represent the company at exhibitions and conferences.
- Negotiate and close deals, while effectively handling complaints or objections.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve better results.
- Create quotes, perform web and in-person demonstrations, and log activities in Salesforce.
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts or territories.
- Develop new and maintain established relationships within the assigned market.
- Collaborate with senior management to establish sales goals and increase market share & revenue.
- Partner with the marketing team to create marketing materials and presentation collateral.
- Lead solution development efforts to best address customer needs, coordinating necessary internal personnel.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
What You'll Need To Thrive (Requirements)
- 3+ years of experience as a Sales Account Executive with a proven track record of successful selling into the Sports & Entertainment markets.
- Experience selling Point of Sale Platforms in the hospitality industry.
- Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (specifically Salesforce and MS Excel).
- Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Salary Range:
- Zone A: $64,000 - $102,000 USD
- Zone B: $55,000 - $88,000 USD
- Zone C: $50,000 - $80,000 USD
The starting salary is determined by skills, experience, and location. Total rewards include base salary, potential cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions), equity, and benefits.
