Security Architect with Cloud Expertise

Requirements

Must have:

• Bachelors degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Engineering
• Over 10 years of experience in information security
• At least 5 years of expertise as a security architect or security partner
• Diverse technical experience across various Cyber Security domains
• In-depth knowledge of security architecture patterns, requirements, and controls
• Comprehensive understanding of threat modeling frameworks and methodologies
• Proven experience in conducting secure code reviews
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Familiarity with key legal and regulatory compliance such as GDPR and RegSCI
• Understanding of major frameworks and standards like NIST, CIS, and ISO
• Prior experience in financial services or the FinTech sector is preferred
• Relevant industry certifications from recognized vendors such as ISA, SANS, CompTIA, or eLearn Security are a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide strong leadership and act as a security thought leader, supporting a line of business within Tradeweb
• Advocate for strategic direction and influence adoption of security architecture in product strategy and roadmaps
• Promote secure design and architecture patterns
• Make cyber risk decisions and cultivate a robust technology and cyber risk management culture across the organization
• Conduct end-to-end security architecture assessments
• Assist in prioritizing and addressing security vulnerabilities in applications, systems, and architectures
• Support teams in developing and executing remediation plans for code and system vulnerabilities
• Contribute to the development of security blueprints and security assertion templates
• Maintain comprehensive business knowledge
• Foster strong relationships with technology, risk management, and compliance teams
• Engage with external regulators and internal/external audit teams to discuss security risks and controls
