About the Role
Triumph, a rapidly growing FinTech company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. This is a remote position open to candidates in the USA. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining our DevOps infrastructure, working collaboratively with development, security, and operations teams to ensure system reliability and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain our AWS cloud infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and monitoring systems.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure application reliability and scalability within a secure and compliant framework.
- Manage the deployment and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters, focusing on efficient resource utilization, scalability, and high availability.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Helm charts for deploying and managing containerized applications.
- Partner with security teams to ensure systems adhere to security standards and regulations such as SOX, SOC2, and FFIEC.
- Monitor and optimize system and application performance.
- Automate the deployment and configuration of systems and applications.
- Recommend impactful design and process improvements for platforms and infrastructure services.
- Design and deploy technical solutions to achieve Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs), ensuring customer expectations are met.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to enhance DevOps processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Technical certifications in AWS or related technologies are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT support role with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Comprehensive experience with AWS services, including a solid understanding of S3, EBS, EC2, ECS, EKS, ELB/ALB, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, KMS, Secrets Manager, Route53, SSM, Redshift, Cloudfront, and Elastic Beanstalk.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and Helm Charts.
- Experience working with Redis and Postgres.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Argo CD and Github Actions.
- Recent experience with Terraform and CI/CD processes in a production environment.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and requirements for a hybrid cloud environment.
- Experience working within an Agile software development methodology.
- Proficiency in Linux.
- Ability to write technical documentation and present materials to diverse audiences is required.
- Experience with Machine Learning, Snowflake, and Looker are considered significant advantages.
- Experience with migration projects and technology consolidation efforts.
