Trustpoint.One is partnering with an Am Law 100 firm to find a Litigation Administrative Assistant for a long-term, fully remote contract opportunity. Candidates must reside in California. This assignment is expected to last 6–12 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to litigation attorneys and legal staff.
  • Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and discovery materials.
  • Maintain attorney calendars and coordinate meetings and deadlines.
  • Assist with billing, time entry, and client invoicing.
  • Open new clients and matters and maintain accurate records.
  • Support California litigation matters, including docketing and deadline management.
  • Assist with e-filing and File & Serve processes.
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed to ensure efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent litigation administrative assistant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of California court procedures and deadlines.
  • Experience with e-filing and File & Serve.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Experience with legal technology, document management, billing, and docketing systems preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations.
  • Work is generally performed sitting, talking, hearing, and typing.
  • This is a high-volume screen-based role, requiring constant, prolonged computer usage.
  • Visual acuity required for computer use, data analysis, and extended reading.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and document handling.
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighting up to 30 pounds.
