Job Summary
Trustpoint.One seeks a Litigation Docketing Specialist for a long-term contract role with a national law firm. This position supports nationwide litigation docketing needs and is open to fully remote candidates (PST hours preferred) or those located in Southern California (LA or SD).
Responsibilities
- Analyze docketing requests and related documents to accurately calculate and calendar critical deadlines.
- Maintain and apply federal, state, and agency rules, including applicable rules of civil procedure.
- Generate and distribute docket reports and deadline summaries.
- Provide guidance to attorneys and staff regarding docketing policies, procedures, and court rules.
- Monitor assigned docketing inboxes and coordinate with case teams to ensure timely and accurate docket entries.
- Manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
Qualifications
- 2 years of prior docketing experience within a law firm.
- Proficiency in Aderant CompuLaw (Required).
- Familiarity with the American Bar Association's Model Rules of Professional Conduct and the California State Bar Association's Rules of Professional Conduct.
- Experience working with federal, state court, and agency rules.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed and sit at a computer for sustained periods.

- Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations. Work involves sitting, talking, hearing, and typing. This is a high-volume, screen-based role requiring prolonged computer usage, data analysis, and virtual meetings. Visual acuity is essential. Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and document handling. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Ability to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds.
- Remote Work & Information Security Requirements: Maintain a secure and reliable internet connection. Utilize company-issued or approved technology, including required security tools (e.g., VPN, multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection). Protect confidential information and report any suspected security incidents promptly.
- Workplace Monitoring & Data Use Notice: Trustpoint may monitor Company-provided systems, devices, and networks. Work in client environments may be subject to client policies and monitoring practices.

- Pay Transparency Notice: Compensation is commensurate with experience, expected to be $30-40/hr. The final offer depends on experience, skills, education, location, and business needs.
