Position Overview

You Must Reside In Colorado For This Fully Remote Position

  • Location: UCHealth UCHlth Admin 2450 Peoria, US:CO:Aurora
  • Department: UCHlth Patient Line RN Triage
  • Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
  • Shift: Days
  • Pay: $40.86 - $63.33 / hour (dependent on relevant experience)

Summary

Supervises daily staff activities for an assigned nursing area or function.

Responsibilities

  • Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
  • Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
  • Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant certification as determined at position level.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
