Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Controls 3 professional to support our Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Project Controls System. This role involves performing cost estimating, analysis, and control activities, as well as schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring.
Key Requirements
- Software Proficiency: P6 experience and Cobra administration experience (backend software capabilities).
- Security Clearance: Q-clearance required (or the ability to obtain one).
- Work Arrangement: Must be able to work on the red network, onsite 2 weeks per month.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Post-graduate coursework is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Perform cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.
- Conduct schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Identify trends for management attention.
- Supervise and provide technical direction for cost engineering and/or planning/scheduling activities, when delegated.
- Support project organizational and administrative activities.
- Resolve complex issues using professional concepts and creative methods.
- Contribute to the development of new theories and methods.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in planning, scheduling, and cost engineering (field and home office).
- Knowledge of supervision, personnel administration, and training.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in personal computer operating systems and discipline-specific software.
- For Control Account Manager (CAM) duties: Advanced knowledge of project controls, project budgets, corrective actions, and status reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tools and processes.
