Job Summary

UnitedHealthcare (UHC) is seeking dedicated sales professionals for their team in Maryland Heights, MO. This hybrid, inbound call role offers a competitive base salary, monthly sales incentives, and the potential for significant earning. UHC provides comprehensive training, including support for obtaining necessary state insurance licenses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with customers on their insurance needs, matching them with appropriate coverages, products, and benefits.
  • Answer incoming calls, identify customer needs, and convert callers into qualified leads and sales.
  • Follow up with members regarding questions and product information.
  • Navigate multiple computer systems while actively listening and engaging with customers.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge, explain differences between offerings, and assist with product selection.
  • Assist with the enrollment application process over the phone, adhering to product requirements and guidelines.
  • Meet performance, attendance, and consumer experience goals.
  • Maintain required agent licensure, appointments, and annual product certifications.

Work Schedule & Location

  • Operating Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 9:30 PM local time, with rotational weekend work.
  • Training: 6-10 weeks of onsite training in a standard day shift.
  • Hybrid Work Model: After successful completion of training and nesting, enjoy up to 3 days per week remote work.
  • Location: Must live within commuting distance to 13655 Riverport DR, Maryland Heights, MO 63043.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total Compensation: Base pay + monthly sales incentive.
  • Average Annual Earnings: $50K - $65K.
  • Top Performer Earnings: Potential to earn $80K+.
  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000 for unlicensed applicants; up to $3,000 for licensed applicants.
  • Paid Time Off: 15 days accrued in the first year + 8 Paid Holidays.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or 4 years of customer service/sales experience.
  • Ability to obtain state insurance licenses within 30 days (training provided).
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to the Maryland Heights, MO office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and Windows applications.
  • Flexibility to adapt communication styles to different customer personalities.
