Job Summary:
The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Department of Anesthesiology, is seeking an Administrative Assistant III to provide high-level administrative support. This role involves assisting the Pediatric Division Administrator, Pediatric Clinical Program Manager, pediatric clinical faculty, and clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with administrative professionals to support clinical faculty, including membership renewals, calendar management, and organizing faculty meetings.
- Process office supply and education material orders, monitor inventory, and reorder as necessary.
- Support the Pediatric Division Administrator, Pediatric Clinical Program Manager(s), and faculty with tasks such as scanning documents, developing correspondence, travel coordination, and other administrative duties.
- Adhere to financial policies and procedures, including submitting Travel Reimbursement and Credit Card Reconciliations.
- Exercise a high level of discretion regarding confidential department matters, including personnel issues and educational data.
- Monitor faculty schedules for conflicts and proactively resolve them.
- Provide cross-coverage for other administrative staff as needed.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
- Three (3) years of general clerical and/or administrative experience, including one (1) year of experience managing calendars using Outlook or similar applications.
- Substitution: College coursework may substitute for general experience on a year-by-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a business or health-related field.
- Four (4) or more years of general clerical and/or administrative experience.
- Experience providing administrative and technical assistance to faculty and staff in a laboratory environment.
- Experience coordinating travel, purchasing, and expense reimbursements.
- Experience in a healthcare or academic setting.
- Experience with UCD software such as Marketplace and Concur.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to various situations.

- Ability to represent the department and University professionally.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Knowledge of CU Medicine, UCH, and University policies is a plus.

Anticipated Pay Range: $51,873 - $62,247
