Job Summary
The Office of the Registrar at CU Boulder welcomes applications for this position! The Registrar's Office is committed to the delivery of quality, student-centered enrollment and academic support services by facilitating the development, enhancement, maintenance, and campus-wide use of the Boulder Degree Management System. As custodians of student records and enrollment data, this unit also provides judicious management and dissemination of student data to campus partners.
This position works within the Office of the Registrar's Degree Audit team. Responsibilities include the coordination and maintenance of all components within the degree management system; performing initial technical coding and updates to maintain accurate degree audits, providing analysis of data integrity, advising academic administrators on curriculum changes, and assisting in the training of campus staff.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Degree Audit Building, Curriculum Evaluation and Management, Trouble-Shooting, Maintenance, & Special Projects
- Design and code degree audits using information on academic programs and graduation requirements.
- Interpret requirements and translate them for use in the degree management system.
- Communicate with college/school degree audit contacts to address challenges in interpreting curriculum and policies.
- Code changes into existing audits and create new degree audits when programs are approved.
- Participate in testing new and revised audits, developing test plans for various scenarios.
- Collaborate with deans and academic staff to verify the accuracy of each degree audit.
- Understand course inventory structure in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and contribute to the maintenance of approved course changes.
- Maintain degree audit communications, documentation, and training materials.
- Participate in campus reviews of degree requirements to develop standards and consistencies.
Degree Audit Reporting
- Assist with degree audit college/school and individual program batch runs.
- Assist with reporting of student/advisor usage, eligibility, and end-of-term processing.
- Assist with graduation checks and special online programs' admission and degree conferral processing.
Student Planner Implementation & Campus Support
- Assist with the implementation of a degree planner tool and work with departments to build integrated degree plans.
- Collaborate with other Registrar units to ensure successful integration with the active schedule of classes.
- Develop and maintain planner tool communications, documentation, and training materials.
System Maintenance, Testing, & Issue Tracking
- Maintain degree management tools for relationship management and customer service.
- Respond to inquiries from students, faculty, and staff within defined service level agreements.
Exception Documentation, Training, & Processing
- Develop and maintain degree audit exception processes, providing documentation and training.
- Provide support and guidance to college/school contacts processing degree exceptions.
- Process exceptions for departments requiring authorization.
Campus Support & Professional Development
- Conduct small group presentations for system tool users.
- Occasional in- and out-of-state travel may be required.

What We Can Offer
- The salary range for this position is $55,100 - $59,000 per year.

What We Require
- Bachelor's Degree in any field.
- One year of experience working in a student information system in a higher education setting.
What You Will Need
- Experience in a University Registrar's Office, Enrollment Management, or Academic Office.
- Superb communication, organizational, analytical, and public speaking skills.
- Problem-solving ability and creativity.
- Demonstrated ability to engage campus departments in a collaborative approach.
