Position Overview

The University of Colorado Anschutz is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to join the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Access and Engagement. This role provides professional and operational coordination for campus and community engagement efforts, specifically supporting the new Community Engagement 3.0 initiative.

This is a hybrid position (3 days per week on campus).

Key Responsibilities

Engagement Intake & Relationship Support (30%)

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for engagement-related requests, evaluating needs and guiding stakeholders through processes and resources.
  • Analyze and triage requests, assessing alignment with program goals and campus/community needs.
  • Document and track engagement requests to ensure accurate records and follow-through.

Engagement Systems & Data Coordination (30%)

  • Analyze engagement data to identify connections between community organizations and campus programs.
  • Synthesize data into reports and insights to support strategy and decision-making.
  • Administer engagement tracking systems, including databases and CRM tools.
  • Coordinate data collection across campus mission areas to ensure consistency and quality.

Program & Meeting Coordination (25%)

  • Contribute to planning and logistics for engagement activities, ensuring alignment with program goals and University procedures.
  • Evaluate engagement activities to identify opportunities for efficiency and refinement.

Operational Coordination and Stakeholder Support (15%)

  • Manage communication with internal and external partners.
  • Handle complex, sensitive health-related topics with cultural nuance.
  • Track action items and deliverables to ensure accountability.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or a directly related field (or a combination of education and related experience).
  • One year of professional experience supporting community engagement or partnership activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data tracking or CRM systems.
  • Experience coordinating projects or events.
  • Second-language proficiency.
