The Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager / Account Executive to drive pipeline growth, lead client engagement, and expand UnlockLand's presence across key real estate and public-sector markets.
This role sits at the intersection of real estate, AI, and enterprise SaaS, working closely with developers, planners, architects, investors, and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Growth & Client Acquisition
- Identify, prospect, and build relationships with developers, planners, architects, real estate professionals, investors, and landowners.
- Drive outbound outreach and qualify inbound leads across priority markets.
- Own and manage opportunities through the full sales funnel, from discovery to close.
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting.
Product Demos & Client Engagement
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations showcasing zoning intelligence, feasibility modeling, and generative site planning.
- Guide prospects through trials, onboarding, and early adoption.
- Act as a trusted advisor, clearly understanding and articulating client needs.
- Communicate customer insights and objections to Product and Leadership teams.
Market Research & Partnerships
- Monitor regional development trends, zoning changes, and regulatory shifts.
- Support partnership initiatives with real estate associations, planning groups, accelerators, and public agencies.
- Represent UnlockLand at industry events, conferences, meetups, and government forums.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities based on market feedback.
- Collaborate with Marketing on positioning, outbound campaigns, and regional go-to-market strategies.
- Support leadership with forecasting, reporting, and strategic growth initiatives.
Ideal Profile
- 2--5 years of experience in business development, account executive, SaaS, PropTech, or client-facing roles.
- Strong relationship builder with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with real estate development, zoning, planning, or feasibility analysis (or a strong desire to develop expertise).
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, early-stage AI startup environment.
- Experience engaging with developers, planners, architects, or government stakeholders is a strong advantage.
- Self-driven, resourceful, and motivated by ownership and impact.
