Fully Remote

$19/hr. (max)

W2 temp Contract - June 26' - September 26'

Our client is seeking a personable and customer-focused Customer Engagement Specialist to support high-volume outreach with families in a fast-paced service environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building positive connections, communicates with empathy and professionalism, and can balance service excellence with proactive follow-through. The ideal candidate is adaptable, dependable, and comfortable navigating structured outreach while representing a brand with warmth and consistency.

This role is a remote role. Scheduled shifts may fall anywhere within extended business hours of 6 AM - 7 PM Pacific Time to support customer coverage needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound follow-up with prospective or recently engaged customers to provide information, answer questions, and support next steps.
  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience that aligns with brand standards, values, and communication expectations.
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally, identify needs, and provide accurate guidance or escalation to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of customer interactions and follow-up activities.
  • Support flexible scheduling needs to ensure consistent coverage across extended business hours.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, along with previous customer service, customer support, retail, call center, or other customer-facing experience.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport, engage customers professionally, and represent brand values effectively.
  • Comfortable managing high-volume phone interactions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and flexible with scheduling to support business coverage across extended Pacific Time operating hours.
  • Ability to balance customer care with proactive outreach, problem-solving, and appropriate escalation when needed.
