About the Role

This is a remote position open to candidates in the USA. The role involves engineering systems to collect hard-to-access data, enhancing existing capabilities, and ensuring the stability and scalability of these systems in sophisticated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Master Data and Capabilities: Understand our world-class data collection methods, differentiators, and how to advance them.
  • Understand Users: Comprehend customer missions, challenges, and expectations to build effective systems.
  • Shape Collection Approach: Develop and implement technical plans to ensure a continuous flow of high-value data, considering interactions with defensive systems.
  • Build Stable, Scalable Systems: Design and maintain collection systems that operate 24x7 and remain stable under sophisticated automated detection regimes.
  • Contribute to Agentic Capability: Ensure tools and collected data are usable by agents (e.g., tool-call readiness, retrieval patterns, schemas/metadata, evaluation loops) and address gaps.

Skills

  • Deep experience with browser automation, anti-bot defenses, fingerprinting and signature mitigation, distributed scraping architectures, and infrastructure for sensitive or misattributed environments.
  • Strong back-end experience and understanding of distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/Python is preferred.
  • Understanding of how anti-abuse, bot detection, fraud, or traffic integrity systems analyze traffic at scale.
  • Data-driven with an eye for instrumentation and monitoring.
  • Ability to reason about how small deviations in protocol behavior, timing, or runtime characteristics impact anomaly scores.
  • Technically diverse and adaptable to new tool stacks.
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing concise one-pagers to align stakeholders and drive action.
  • Preference for structural resilience over reactive tactics.
  • Comfortable making prioritization calls with incomplete information.
  • Deep understanding of how network-level and browser-level signatures contribute to risk profiles in modern detection systems.
  • Experience with web scraping and browser automation.
  • Experience with national security problems and workflows, data platform/product work is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agentic systems and data readiness for tool calls.
  • Full-stack capability is a plus.
  • An active TS / SCI Clearance is a plus but not required.

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Remote-friendly work environment with WeWork access.
  • Unlimited PTO, shared downtime during federal holidays, and company-wide year-end break.
  • 401(k) match.
  • Lifestyle and wellbeing stipends.
  • Salary top-up during military reserve duty.
  • Fully paid parental leave.
  • Child and pet care reimbursement during travel.
