Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled network engineer to join their collaborative team remotely. In this role, you will be tasked with designing and improving various network infrastructures, including LAN and WAN settings, while working closely with the network team. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining connectivity and proposing innovative design improvements that enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and enhance LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to ensure robust connectivity across the organization.

  • Collaborate with the network team to troubleshoot issues and improve network design, promoting efficiency and reliability.

  • Engage in capacity planning to accommodate future growth and technological advancements in network infrastructures.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of network architecture and connectivity to support ongoing reference and compliance.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise networking, demonstrating deep knowledge of network fundamentals and various technologies.

  • Proven hands-on experience with firewall technologies, particularly Fortinet, with the flexibility to adapt to Cisco systems based on seniority.

  • Experience working within a 100% cloud environment, demonstrating adaptability to new technologies and frameworks.

  • Strong ability to design solutions independently, showcasing initiative and problem-solving skills in past projects.
