We are a pre-launch menswear brand based in Southern California focused on bridging the gap between athleisure and high fashion. Our goal is to create clothing that feels elevated, progressive, and visually refined while maintaining comfort, ease, and real-world wearability. We are building a cohesive brand world centered around silhouette, proportion, restraint, and modern masculine style.
The Role
We are currently looking for a freelance or fractional Menswear Designer / Creative Director to help shape and refine our product assortment and overall creative direction.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for:
- Silhouette and proportion
- Elevated everyday menswear
- Progressive but wearable design
- Collection cohesion
- Visual storytelling and taste
- Modern fashion and cultural awareness
You would work closely with the founder to help:
- Shape the overall product direction
- Refine silhouettes and fits
- Develop a cohesive assortment strategy
- Guide color/fabric direction
- Identify gaps and opportunities within the collection
- Ensure the brand feels emotionally and visually consistent
- Help define the broader creative identity of the brand
This is not purely a technical design role. We are looking for someone who can contribute creatively and strategically to the overall world and feeling of the brand.
Ideal Background
- Menswear design experience
- Strong aesthetic and cultural perspective
- Experience with contemporary / elevated brands
- Understanding of both commercial appeal and progressive design
- Ability to think beyond individual garments and toward overall brand cohesion
- Experience with creative direction, assortment planning, or campaign/world-building is a plus
