Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with deep experience in AWS Glue and Aurora PostgreSQL to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and batch/near-real-time data processing solutions on AWS.
This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX, requiring 3 days of onsite work per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using AWS Glue (PySpark) and related AWS services.
- Work with Aurora PostgreSQL as a core data store for analytics and operational workloads.
- Use Step Functions and EventBridge to orchestrate and schedule data workflows.
- Manage data in S3 and query it using Athena and the Glue Data Catalog.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Required Experience and Skills
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS Glue (PySpark).
- Strong experience with Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency with S3, Athena, EventBridge, Step Functions, and Glue Data Catalog.
- Solid programming skills in Python.
- Experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing AWS resources.
