Job description
We are looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our Public Sector Customer Success team. In this role, you will serve as the strategic relationship manager for a portfolio of state, local government, education, and public-sector customers. You will partner with customer stakeholders to drive adoption, engagement, and measurable outcomes while navigating the unique complexities of public-sector organizations, including multiple stakeholders, procurement processes, and budget cycles. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of public-sector customers and serve as their primary strategic partner.
- Lead business reviews focused on engagement, outcomes, customer value, and long-term success.
- Build strong relationships with benefits leaders, HR teams, consultants, and executive stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally to advocate for customer needs and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Identify customer risks, expansion opportunities, and strategic initiatives that strengthen partnerships.
- Share customer feedback internally to improve products, processes, and overall customer experience.
First 90 Days Expectations
- Develop a strong understanding of Virta's products, services, and customer success strategy.
- Build relationships with key internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Learn the unique dynamics of managing public-sector customers.
- Participate in customer meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning discussions.
- Begin independently managing your assigned portfolio.
