Position Summary

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer to help us innovate at scale and reimagine the future of retail. You will play a key role in building high-performance, accessible web applications that impact millions of users.

What You'll Do

  • Full Stack Development: Spend 75-80% of your time hands-on with coding, code reviews, debugging, and optimization for both frontend and backend systems.
  • User Interface Design: Build responsive, dynamic interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, and Webpack.
  • Site Speed & Performance: Optimize site speed, resource utilization, browser storage, and memory management.
  • Node.js & Backend Development: Develop scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and manage SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Mentoring & Leadership: Mentor junior team members, lead projects, and foster a culture of continuous learning and engineering excellence.
  • Architecture & Innovation: Drive architectural vision, stay current with emerging technologies, and champion new ideas.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality user experiences.

What You Will Bring

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, and Webpack.
  • Expertise in Node.js, RESTful API design, and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization, security best practices, and browser memory management.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies (GCP/Azure).

General Skills

  • Several years of full-stack development experience in complex web applications.
  • Proven ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in e-commerce or marketplace platforms is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 3 years of software engineering experience.
  • Option 2: 5 years of software engineering or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field and 1 year of experience.
  • Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and inclusive digital design.
