About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to define how performance is measured, managed, and rewarded across the National Branch Network. This role is responsible for designing performance metrics, customer attribution frameworks, and peer benchmarking models that align business strategy to field execution and incentive compensation.

This role will act as a central integrator across strategy, data, product, finance, incentive compensation teams, and various partners to ensure performance measurement is consistent, transparent, and drives desired business outcomes.

In this role, you will:

Design Performance Metrics that Drive Growth

  • Develop new branch and banker performance metrics aligned to key growth priorities (e.g., deposits, checking, customer deepening).
  • Define metric logic, eligibility rules, and performance thresholds to support integration into incentive compensation.
  • Ensure alignment between leading indicators, business outcomes, and pay-for-performance structures.

Connect Metrics to Reporting & Incentives

  • Partner with data, product, and incentive compensation teams to embed metrics into reporting platforms and compensation plans.
  • Simplify and standardize field-facing dashboards to improve transparency and actionability.
  • Ensure performance measurement is clear, consistent, and trusted across the organization.

Own Branch Customer List (BCL) Strategy

  • Define the framework for which customers are included in branch portfolios for outreach, deepening, and performance attribution.
  • Establish rules for customer ownership and alignment to branch P&Ls.
  • Partner cross-functionally to operationalize and evolve the Branch Customer List construct.

Build Peer Group Frameworks

  • Design branch and district peer groups to enable fair and meaningful performance comparisons.
  • Incorporate factors such as market opportunity, complexity, and customer mix into performance benchmarking.
  • Embed peer groups into reporting, incentives, and field routines.

Lead Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner closely with Product, Data/Business Intelligence, Finance, HR, and Strategy teams.
  • Translate business priorities into clear requirements for data and technology partners.
  • Act as a central integrator across teams to ensure end-to-end delivery of initiatives.

Drive Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish governance processes for metric, peer group, and customer attribution updates.
  • Monitor performance outcomes and field behavior to refine metrics and frameworks over time.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis supporting sales organizations, with a focus on performance measurement, data modeling, and building dashboards that deliver actionable insights that improve sales performance and business outcomes.

Desired Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in financial services, with focus on consumer banking or lending.
  • Experience designing and implementing field performance frameworks or incentive compensation that drive business outcomes.
  • Deep knowledge of retail banking and branch performance, including drivers of growth and field behavior.
  • Experience with customer segmentation and portfolio strategy.
  • Experience building and optimizing reporting dashboards to support performance management, decision making, and strategy.
  • Proven ability to influence and align senior executive stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Experience translating enterprise strategy into scalable operating models, frameworks, and execution plans.
  • Experience leading cross functional initiatives or enterprise transformation efforts across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to drive adoption and sustained behavioral change.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Pay Range

$139,000.00 - $239,000.00. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
