Role Description

We are seeking a Part-Time Controller to manage and oversee the company's financial activities and reporting. This remote role requires managing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, monitoring budgets, assisting with audits, and collaborating with other departments to drive financial efficiency. The Controller will be responsible for implementing effective financial controls and providing accurate and timely financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budget management, and compliance
  • Expertise in accounting software and tools, as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to analyze financial data and develop effective financial strategies
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • CPA qualification or equivalent certification is preferred
  • Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and best practices
  • Experience working in a remote and collaborative team environment

Schedule: Part-time | 10 hours/week max | Fully remote

Location: Remote (Company HQ: Miami, FL)

Compensation: $20/hr
