About Woven by Toyota
Woven by Toyota is contributing to Toyota’s 100-year transformation into a mobility company. Inspired by our history of inventing “for the sake of others,” our mission is to expand the definition of mobility, enhance how mobility serves society, and challenge the norms of mobility through people-first innovation.
We operate around four pillars: AD/ADAS (technology for automated driving and advanced driver-assistance systems), Arene (a vehicle software production platform for SDVs), Woven City (a mobility test track), and Cloud & AI (digital infrastructure supporting collaboration). Business-critical functions also support the implementation of these teams, as we work together to realize a “zero-accident society” and the “mass production of happiness.”

About the Team
Toyota is redefining mobility. We move people, goods, information, and energy, continuously challenging the norms of mobility. Woven City serves as a test track for creating and testing future mobility, with the concepts of a people-centric city, a city for実証実験 (jissho jikken - verification and testing), and an unfinished city, aiming for the mass production of happiness.
Woven City brings together diverse individuals who share a vision for future mobility. Inventors, residents, and visitors will test various products and services while living in a city-shaped test track where people, mobility, and social infrastructure are interconnected.
This team, comprised of specialists in power generation, software development, and new business development, is responsible for planning and launching energy management services for EV owners. Through collaboration with Woven City’s electricity-related departments and other relevant departments within Toyota Motor Corporation, we support Toyota’s transformation into a mobility company.
This position reports to the Lead of Product Management Energy.
