The Work

Xenios is building the AI-native operating system for the proactive-health professional — coaches, clinicians, performance specialists, and the organizations that employ them. Our platform features three commercial surfaces: a professional workspace, a consumer behavioral companion, and a clinical enterprise tier. We aim to empower coaches to serve significantly more clients without compromising the quality of their transformative work.

Design is integral to our product. The professional workspace must eliminate operational drag, the consumer companion should feel personal, and the clinical surface needs to be trusted within audited workflows.

The founding designer will establish this crucial foundation.

About the Team

Our founding team comprises a CTO with a successful track record in healthcare-tech exits, an MD cofounder with extensive prescribing history and clinical leadership experience, and a core team with expertise in performance science, clinical operations, product management, and operational roles across healthtech and consumer sectors. We are pre-seed stage, have secured angel capital, and are actively building our MVP.

Our aesthetic and posture align with companies like Anthropic, Stripe, and Palantir, focusing on infrastructure rather than vertical SaaS.

Responsibilities in the First 90 Days

The founding designer will own:

• Visual Identity and Design System: Establish a comprehensive system from scratch, including a Figma library, design tokens, reusable components, and motion principles.
• Professional Workspace Flows: Design end-to-end user experiences for the operator dashboard, client roster, protocol builder, lab interpretation, and prescribing handoff.
• Consumer Companion Flows: Create end-to-end user experiences for daily check-ins, food logging, video form capture, wearable data synthesis, and the conversational layer.
• Onboarding and Migration UX: Develop seamless UX for transitioning working professionals from legacy platforms within 72 hours.
• Consistent Design Language: Ensure a unified design language across web, mobile, conversational, and clinical interfaces.

The founding designer will report to the CEO and collaborate directly with the CTO, with weekly production releases. There are no Product Manager gates between design and shipped UI.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals with:

• 5 years of experience shipping product design.
• A portfolio demonstrating both visual quality and information density.
• Experience designing systems-heavy products (B2B SaaS, fintech infrastructure, clinical, or performance tooling).
• Comfort in building a design system from a blank canvas.
• A preference for fast iteration, taste over polish, and a dislike for design theater.

Bonus points for:

• Experience in health, fitness, performance, longevity, or clinical product development.
• Experience designing for AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience scaling a design system beyond 50 components.

• Backend: Supabase
• AI: Anthropic Claude
• Infrastructure: MCP server architecture, Vercel, Fly.io
• AI-assisted design tools are encouraged.
