What We're Looking For

The Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Change Management Lead's primary responsibilities are to create and implement change management strategies and plans in complex business contexts, including acquisition integration. In addition, the change management lead will coach business leaders on change leadership, enable others to drive change activities, help project teams integrate change management activities into their project plan, and create internal and external communications that aid in driving awareness and adoption of change. Externally, the Lead plays an important part in representing the voice of the customer and communicating to non-Zebra stakeholders.

Change Management

  • Identifies stakeholders, analyzes stakeholder impacts, completes change management assessments, and creates strategies to effectively drive change
  • Drives understanding and adoption of new and modified tools, business processes, systems, job roles, and organizational structures
  • Creates and implements change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance
  • Creates and manages execution of change management deliverables (Change Management Plans, Stakeholder Assessments, Impact Assessments, Communications Plans)
  • Support and lead training efforts
  • Collaborates with peer change managers across Zebra to drive continuous improvement in the area of change management methodologies, documentation, communications, etc.
  • Serves as a Zebra change management expert in cross-functional and company-wide strategic change initiatives

Engagement and Communications

  • Coordinates development and delivery of project-related communications and engagement activities
  • Plans and executes cross-company communications and stakeholder engagement activities, potentially including events, forums, awareness meetings, newsletters, posters, leadership videos, local open houses, road shows, celebrations, etc.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional marketing, communications, and partner program teams to coordinate timing and delivery of external communications
  • Prepares program-level change management materials for use in regular leadership reviews, program status meetings, quarterly business reviews, etc.
  • Establishes and maintains necessary internal and external communications infrastructure, including change agents, distribution lists, mailboxes, repositories for documents and photos

Candidate will work hybrid (3 days in office/2 remote) from Lincolnshire, IL (highly preferred), Knoxville, TN, Richardson, TX or San Jose, CA. Travel 10%.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Relevant professional experience, including wide range of previous roles in change management and communications
  • Experience leading change activities, including vision setting, leadership/change sponsor alignment and engagement, stakeholder analysis, impact identification, readiness assessment, communication strategies, training plans, and measurement of adoption
  • Experience and training in change management and communications methodologies.
  • Proven ability to work with different stakeholders and teams in a global, multi-site organization
  • Exercise judgment and experience tailoring the change management strategy to meet the needs of a variety of project types, and apply context-specific methods, tools, and tactics
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to tailor style and messages for different audiences
  • Work independently with little or no supervision
  • Experience coaching leadership and project team members to guide them through the change management process
  • Ability to think and act strategically and deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Maturity and professionalism in interactions at all levels
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Solid project management skills, including ability to manage multiple, dynamic projects and tasks
  • Experience with integrating acquisitions highly desired

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay Range: $96,800.00 - $145,200.00 Annual
  • Incentive Compensation: Performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay.
