About the Role
zerohash is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead Custody, the core infrastructure responsible for securing and transferring digital assets on its platform. This role is crucial for safeguarding crypto assets for major financial institutions, managing a high volume of transactions across numerous networks, and ensuring secure, scalable operations. You will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and technical details of asset security and movement, including chain integrations, wallet architecture, and policy enforcement. This is a high-visibility, fully remote position, ideally located within +/- 3 hours of US East Coast time.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap and execution for Custody, prioritizing new asset/chain integrations, blockchain services, and policy engine features while driving product vision.
- Design and oversee end-to-end deposit and withdrawal flows, collaborating with engineering and operations.
- Manage relationships with custody technology partners, signing providers, and node infrastructure vendors.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering to translate product requirements into robust systems.
- Partner with operations and finance to enhance reconciliation processes and automate exception handling.
- Work closely with compliance, security, and risk teams to ensure regulatory adherence and robust fraud protection.
- Create clear technical specifications and API documentation for internal and external use.
- Analyze on-chain data to optimize flows, measure performance, and inform product decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of Product Management experience.
- Proven experience building API-based products.
- Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including wallet architecture, transaction construction, and signing models (MPC, HSM, multi-sig).
- Demonstrated ability to develop product strategies and communicate them to executive leadership.
- Capability to discuss technical concepts with engineering teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, especially Jira.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including SQL proficiency for data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in institutional custody, wallet, or staking products.
- Familiarity with EVM and non-EVM chain integrations.
- Prior experience in software engineering or sales engineering.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
