Digital Assets Product Manager - Enterprise Commercial Product (ECP)

Zions Bancorporation is venturing into the dynamic world of digital assets, blockchain technology, tokenized deposits, and stablecoin financial services. We are seeking a talented Product Manager to spearhead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of our next-generation digital asset products, ensuring they are secure, compliant, and deliver significant customer value.

Role Summary

The Product Manager will define and manage a portfolio of digital asset and blockchain-enabled payment products. This role demands a deep understanding of decentralized technologies, digital money, evolving regulatory landscapes, and modern payment innovations. You will collaborate closely with business, technology, legal, risk, and operations teams to successfully launch secure and compliant blockchain-based financial products.

Core Responsibilities -- Product Management

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for digital assets, tokenized deposits, blockchain payment rails, and stablecoin money movement products.
  • Develop high-level product requirements and manage the entire product lifecycle.
  • Maintain essential product documentation, including FAQs, sales materials, training guides, and operational workflows.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes.
  • Engage with internal and external partners, including fintechs, blockchain platforms, and technology vendors.
  • Train sales, operations, and client-facing teams on product features and applications.
  • Drive product financial performance through strategic pricing, adoption initiatives, and growth opportunities.
  • Communicate product roadmaps and their impact to senior leadership.

Product Development & Innovation

  • Identify key opportunities for leveraging distributed ledger technology (DLT) and programmable money.
  • Conduct market research on institutional digital asset adoption and blockchain-enabled commercial payments.
  • Develop product roadmaps aligned with the enterprise strategy and IT governance.
  • Create business cases, detailed requirements, and customer experience flows for blockchain-enabled services.
  • Navigate products through rigorous risk, compliance, and security review processes.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies, commercialization efforts, pilot programs, and feedback loops.

Risk & Regulatory Management

  • Monitor and interpret regulatory guidance concerning digital assets, stablecoins, digital identity, custody, and tokenized deposits.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk departments to ensure product adherence to federal and state frameworks.
  • Support risk assessments, model reviews, AML/BSA processes, and crypto-specific control implementation.
  • Oversee the due diligence and ongoing monitoring of digital asset vendors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of product management experience; direct experience with digital assets, blockchain, or crypto products is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in blockchain systems, tokenization models, smart contracts, and digital wallet technologies.
  • Familiarity with stablecoin or tokenized deposit architectures is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex technical products within dynamic regulatory environments.
  • Agile experience is preferred; comfortable working with engineering and architecture teams.

Pay Range

  • $140,000 - $160,000 (commensurate with relevant skills, experience, and location)
