Position Overview

A-Train Marketing Communications is seeking an experienced Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join our client services team. This is a 100% remote, full-time position.

Note: Prior experience within a marketing agency is required.

Position Summary

Account and Senior Account Managers oversee day-to-day client account management by building strong relationships, managing projects efficiently, and delivering high-quality work. You will serve as the primary liaison between agency production staff and the client, facilitating creative input, advertising/media strategy, and project timelines.

Status and Salary

  • Status: Full-time, salaried
  • Salary Range: $52,000 - $82,000, plus competitive benefits

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships, provide day-to-day support, and lead production efforts to ensure projects are on time and on budget.
  • Present ideas, concepts, and drafts to clients; manage feedback and revisions.
  • Document project details, client feedback, and account activity.
  • Act as a strategic marketing partner by monitoring campaign effectiveness and anticipating client needs.
  • Collaborate with the traffic manager and art director to ensure creative work is accurate and efficient.
  • Analyze client input and conduct research to develop and execute marketing plans.
  • Coordinate project timing and budgets with agency personnel.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to brand rules.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain projects and timesheets in the FunctionPoint system.
  • Participate in staff meetings and agency events.
  • Assist in writing proposals for existing clients.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Agency experience is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree (Marketing, English, or Communications preferred).
  • Exceptional client relations and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, professional, and optimistic attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and electronic file organization.
  • Digital advertising skills are a plus.

  • Work Environment: Fully remote. Occasional travel to client locations may be required; reliable transportation is necessary.
