For nearly 40 years, nonprofit AccessLex Institute has been partnering with our member institutions—the nearly 200 state-affiliated and nonprofit ABA-approved law schools—to meet the ever-changing needs and challenges of law students and the legal education community we serve. From providing free resources for every step of the law school journey to maximizing the value and affordability of a law degree through research and policy advocacy, we exist to increase access and further the success of aspiring lawyers from admission to law school to admission to the bar.

Job Summary

Reporting to the area National Director, the Regional Director, Bar Review Program Engagement is the external face of the Company and the bar review program. The Regional Director acts in multiple roles as a senior-level relationship manager, program manager, and knowledge expert. This is a fully remote position focusing on CA schools, requiring heavy travel inside the territory throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Creates territory-specific business plans to increase engagement, sales, and meet expected goals.
  • Assists with field-related efforts, including focus groups, company events, school visits, and industry conferences.
  • Creates content to support academic and bar success.
  • Establishes and maintains direct contact with member schools, influencers, faculty, administrators, and student groups.
  • Serves as a company ambassador at industry conferences and tradeshows.
  • Recruits, trains, and supports student ambassadors.
  • Provides direct support and mentoring to student users.
  • Maintains contact management system (CMS) records.
  • Offers analysis and recommendations for new services and products.
  • Contributes to the development and quality control of new products and services.
  • Maintains a social media presence to promote the Company.

Candidate Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of sales, relationship development, product delivery, and brand building.
  • Strong understanding of the bar exam process and strategies for success.
  • Ability to initiate and implement new products.
  • Ability to stay abreast of higher education policies, specifically within law/professional schools.
  • Superior attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Superior writing, verbal communication, presentation, and critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to give and receive feedback.
  • Computer proficiency (Salesforce, web-based applications, online collaboration tools).
  • Passion for legal education and student success.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Background Experience

  • JD required; Licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction required.
  • 2 years of experience in education, relationship building, and/or sales-related occupations; legal education setting preferred.

Compensation

  • Annual salary: $90,000 - $100,000.
