Job description

The Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, enhancing, and supporting complex enterprise applications, focusing on modernization and performance improvements across a diverse technology stack.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, troubleshooting, and enhancement of enterprise .NET applications, including a large monolithic .NET application, legacy ASPX applications, and .NET Core-based microservices
  • Provide advanced production support, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution across web, mobile, distributed jobs, and cloud-hosted environments
  • Drive modernization, performance, and reliability improvements while maintaining stability across legacy and modern technology stacks
  • Design and develop scalable full-stack solutions using C#, .NET/.NET Core, Angular, and related frameworks
  • Possess working knowledge of AWS services to effectively troubleshoot application issues and collaborate with the infrastructure team during deployments and production incidents
  • Develop and optimize distributed background jobs and integrations, ensuring reliability and fault tolerance
  • Implement and maintain Azure CI/CD pipelines, supporting automated builds, deployments, and release management
  • Design, query, and optimize data solutions using SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and data modeling
  • Collaborate with QA, operations, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, resilient, and supportable solutions

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • 6+ years of software development experience
  • Strong experience with .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, legacy ASPX applications, Entity Framework and .NET Core
  • Proven experience developing full-stack applications, including front-end frameworks such as Angular
  • Hands-on experience supporting applications throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and release processes (Azure DevOps or similar tools)
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL, with experience in query optimization and performance tuning
  • Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS) sufficient to troubleshoot application and deployment issues in collaboration with infrastructure teams
  • Experience supporting and modernizing large-scale legacy applications while transitioning to microservices-based architectures
  • Prior experience with production support, incident management, and root cause analysis in complex, distributed systems
  • Familiarity with healthcare, claims, or prior authorization systems and related regulatory environments
