Regional Partnership & Enrollment Director

Department: Partnership & Enrollment

Reports to: VP, Partnership & Enrollment

Location: Remote (U.S.-based; candidates must reside in California or Colorado)

Travel: Up to 50% domestic travel; occasional international travel may be required

Compensation: Base salary $72,000--$75,000 + up to $28,000 in performance-based incentives

AIFS Abroad is seeking a relationship-driven, results-oriented professional to lead university partnerships and student enrollment across a U.S. territory.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management (35%)

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, faculty, and study abroad offices
  • Serve as the primary representative of AIFS Abroad within your territory
  • Deliver exceptional partner support and identify opportunities for growth
  • Promote study abroad, internship, and customized faculty-led programs
  • Organize campus visits, events, and outreach initiatives
  • Track partner engagement and maintain CRM data
  • Gather and share partner feedback and market insights

Student Enrollment (30%)

  • Drive student enrollment and meet territory-based targets and KPIs
  • Manage and optimize the enrollment funnel
  • Conduct outreach via phone, email, and text
  • Guide applicants through program selection and enrollment processes
  • Conduct interviews for internship applicants
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and reporting

Strategic Growth (30%)

  • Develop and execute territory strategies for partnership and enrollment growth
  • Identify and pursue new institutional partnerships
  • Expand engagement with underperforming or emerging accounts
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications on campaigns
  • Analyze trends and adjust strategies accordingly

Collaboration & Industry Engagement (5%)

  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams
  • Represent AIFS Abroad at conferences and industry events
  • Stay informed on trends in international education

What to Expect in This Role

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of professional experience (sales, higher education, or related field preferred)
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Experience working with students and/or higher education institutions
  • Minimum of two months of continuous international experience (study, work, or travel)
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload independently
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred

  • 4+ years in international education or university administration
  • Sales or enrollment experience
  • CRM experience (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Experience working with colleges or universities
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and strategies
  • Second language proficiency
