Overview

Join a Team That Puts People and Performance First!

Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves helping people, and gets excited about being a key part of a winning sales team? We're looking for motivated, detail-driven professionals to join AIS as a Sales Support CRS — a role where your energy and expertise directly help customers find the right coverage and say "yes" to a new policy.

This is a remote position where you'll make a real impact every single day.

Job Summary

The Sales Support CRS is a key partner to our Sales team and plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional experience to clients who are ready to purchase insurance. In this role, you'll work alongside Sales Representatives to guide prospective customers through the new policy process — from the initial quote all the way to binding coverage.

This is a front- and back-end support role focused on new business. You'll step in to assist clients when Sales Reps are unavailable, keep the pipeline moving, and ensure every interaction reflects the AIS commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and outstanding service.

State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:

  • $54,586 to $61,637 (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)
  • $49,623 to $56,034 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)
  • $44,661 to $50,430 (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)

The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales Representatives: Serve as a direct resource for Sales Reps, handling new business inquiries, completing applications, and providing coverage when Reps are unavailable.
  • Guide Clients Through the Purchase Process: Build rapport with prospective customers, gather the information needed to move their application forward, and deliver a smooth, professional buying experience.
  • Quote New Business: Run accurate insurance quotes across multiple carriers for new customers, clearly presenting coverage options and helping clients understand the products that best fit their needs.
  • Complete Applications: Prepare, submit, and follow up on new policy applications, ensuring all required documentation and information are collected accurately and on time.
  • Educate and Advise: Explain coverage options, discounts, and policy features to help clients make informed decisions — with a focus on finding the right fit, not just the fastest close.
  • Meet Performance Goals: Consistently achieve KPI benchmarks, including % of Binds and Contacts Handled, in line with company expectations.
  • Stay Queue-Ready: Maintain availability and manage phone states appropriately to ensure clients and Sales Reps receive prompt, professional support throughout the day.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Familiarity with multiple insurance carriers and state insurance regulations is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, stay detail-oriented, and maintain exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to empathize with customers.
  • Solid computer and typing skills, with proficiency in navigating a Windows environment.
  • Competence in simultaneously navigating and toggling between multiple systems, including data entry, quoting applications, insurance software, and communication platforms.
  • Strong problem resolution skills to address and resolve customer concerns effectively.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus

Education/Experience

  • High School diploma or its equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree a plus
  • Active Resident Property & Casualty Insurance Producer license
  • 1+ years customer service experience in the insurance or related industry

Physical Requirements

Work-from-home requirements:

  • Dedicated, quiet workspace
  • High-speed internet via reliable provider
  • Ability to attend virtual meetings and training sessions
  • Shift: Monday-Friday | 8AM-5PM PST / 10AM-7PM CST / 11AM-8PM EST
