About The Role

We're looking for a sharp, data-driven Social Media Analyst to help decode what audiences are doing, why they're engaging, and how campaigns can perform better. This is a remote contract role at the intersection of entertainment, advertising, and digital media --- where your insights will directly shape campaign decisions.

If you love digging into platform data, spotting trends before they peak, and translating numbers into actionable strategy, this role is for you.

  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: Flexible hours

What You'll Do

  • Monitor social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, etc.) for performance signals and emerging trends
  • Analyze engagement metrics, audience behavior, and content performance across campaigns
  • Identify patterns in reach, impressions, shares, sentiment, and conversion data
  • Deliver clear, structured reports and dashboards that translate data into strategic recommendations
  • Support campaign teams with insights that guide creative and targeting decisions
  • Track competitor activity and benchmark performance across the media and entertainment landscape
  • Flag shifts in audience behavior and platform algorithm changes in a timely manner

Who You Are

  • Experienced in social media analytics, digital marketing analysis, or a closely related field
  • Proficient with analytics tools such as Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Native Platform Insights, Google Analytics, or similar
  • Strong ability to interpret data and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own workflow in a remote environment
  • Detail-oriented with a knack for spotting trends that others miss
  • Familiar with the media, advertising, or entertainment industry landscape

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with paid social campaign data
  • Background in audience segmentation or consumer behavior research
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Data Studio)
  • Knowledge of influencer performance metrics and creator economy trends

Why Join Us

  • Fully remote and flexible --- work on a schedule that suits you
  • Engaging work at the heart of media, advertising, and entertainment
  • Freelance autonomy with the opportunity to work on high-impact campaigns
  • Collaborate with creative and strategy teams across the industry
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension based on performance
