Job description

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist - III (Senior) for a Remote position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company. This is a 9+ month contract opportunity. This position is 100% remote.

This role will support the L&D Change Management and Communications Lead in developing and deploying program-specific marketing and communication strategies. The specialist will be responsible for creating clear and concise content for various channels, including emails, websites, and newsletters, to ensure successful adoption of learning and development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute learning marketing and communications strategies, communication plans, messaging and communications (e.g., emails, slide decks, articles, newsletters, etc.) to ensure stakeholders are informed and learners are actively engaging in learning.
  • Develop and distribute communications on overall learning strategy and initiatives.
  • Develop standards and templates for program and offering-level communication.
  • Develop and distribute communication and marketing about existing learning programs and courses available.
  • Coordinate communications with Learning Consultants/Partners as appropriate.
  • Support communicating within the Learning and Development department, including, but not limited to, leading the efforts to create, edit, publish and distribute the department's monthly newsletter.
  • Assist with capturing and measuring communication related metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2-6 years of experience.
  • Excellent writing skills (clear and concise) for various communication channels (email, websites, newsletters, presentations, video scripts, internal advertisements for learning programs, etc.).
  • Ability to streamline verbose and sometimes complex content to focus on the main message(s) in a concise and effective manner.
  • Excellent ability to analyze and understand global audiences/personas and tailor communications accordingly.
  • Ability to measure marketing and communication effectiveness (i.e. metrics) and adjust/adapt strategies appropriately.
  • Excellent speaking and presentation skills and ability to present to senior leaders if needed.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing strategies and related communication plans.
  • Very detail oriented.
  • Generates creative ideas through research and resourcefulness and suggests new approaches.
  • Excellent critical thinker with the ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple project timelines running in parallel and meet project timelines.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively manage work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.

Desired Skills

  • Experience using Adobe suite.
  • Experience building and maintaining SharePoint sites.
  • Change Management experience.

Compensation and Employment

  • Pay range: up to $44.65 per hour.
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
