Peoplesoft Developer - Global Payroll

About the Role

Atlas Technologies is seeking a passionate, flexible, and highly motivated PeopleSoft Developer - Global Payroll to join our team of IT professionals. We support the US military by providing Enterprise IT solutions for mission-critical, high-availability, and tactical applications. This is a fully remote position available to residents in specific states (AL, CA, CT, FL, GA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, NC, OR, RI, SC, TX, VA, DC, WV) with up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test the PeopleSoft Global Payroll rules engine, updating or modifying existing extensions.
• Integrate PeopleSoft Global Payroll with existing Oracle PeopleSoft HCM solutions to support the Integrated Personnel and Pay System.
• Work in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment to build and test Epics, Features, and User Stories.
• Design, develop, and maintain customizations across various modules, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Financials (AP, AR, GL), and Campus Solutions.
• Develop complex components using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interface, and Event Mapping.
• Utilize SQL, SQR, PSQuery, BI Publisher, and web services.
• Support integrations with third-party and legacy systems using REST/SOAP Web Services and middleware tools.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, data integrity problems, and system bugs.
• Manage security, user roles, and ensure compliance with standards like HIPAA and FISMA.
• Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Must possess a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DoD) Clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
• Security+ or IAT Level 2 certification required.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of PeopleSoft development experience across HCM, Financials, and/or Campus Solutions.
• Expert-level experience with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, and Component Interface.
• Deep knowledge of PeopleSoft security, performance tuning, and change management.
• Proven ability to lead development tasks and mentor team members.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid UI, accessibility compliance, PUM, Change Assistant, and cloud-hosted environments (OCI/AWS).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
