The Role
We're looking for a Content & Community Manager to own Avari's content and community functions across the channels where our homeowners, guests, and local communities spend their time. You'll develop content that educates, inspires, and builds trust, while nurturing the online and offline communities at the heart of the Avari brand. What You'll Do
Content Strategy
- Own and drive Avari's content strategy across social media, email, blog, and other owned channels --- defining objectives, channel mix, and success metrics.
- Develop and evolve Avari's social media playbook across channels that capture our content frameworks and brand voice standards.
- Originate and lead content initiatives from concept through completion, inclusive of stakeholder management in driving alignment.
- Manage external content partners --- agencies, freelancers, and contractors --- from briefing through review and approval of deliverables, ensuring they're on-brand and successfully deliver on our objectives.
- Own content performance analysis and use data to drive strategic recommendations on where to evolve the strategy.
Community Strategy
- Define and own Avari's community engagement strategy --- determining which communities matter, how we show up in them, and what meaningful engagement looks like for homeowners, guests, and local markets.
- Partner with local market teams to surface stories, testimonials, and community moments worth sharing --- and leading how those are developed and deployed across channels.
- Monitor brand mentions, reviews, and community sentiment, and decide how to respond to opportunities and concerns in partnership with cross-functional teams when needed.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, launches, and seasonal initiatives by contributing a strategic perspective.
- Represent the content and community function in cross-team planning, providing recommendations and advocating for brand-aligned decisions.
- Support brand partnerships, local events, and sponsorships through strategic content and community engagement planning.
What We're Looking For
- 0-2 years of experience in content strategy, social media management, or brand marketing.
- Experience managing creative partners --- internal or external.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt voice across formats, audiences, and channels.
- Strong analytical ability and comfort making data-driven strategic recommendations.
- A builder mentality --- energized by owning a function and making it better, not just executing within a framework someone else set.
- Comfort using content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, or similar) and social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn).
