About the Role

We are looking for a skilled System Administrator to manage and support our IT infrastructure in a fully remote environment. You will be responsible for maintaining system stability, security, and performance across cloud and on-premise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and maintain servers (Linux/Windows)
• Administer cloud infrastructure on platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Configure and manage user access, permissions, and identity systems
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Automate routine tasks using scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and engineering teams
• Maintain documentation of systems and processes

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server environments
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs)
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Familiarity with security best practices
• Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Certifications like AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
• Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana)
