ABOUT THE ROLE
Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Community Manager. This role focuses on building, engaging, and managing online communities while supporting brand presence and customer interaction.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is creative, communicative, and interested in social media, online engagement, and brand growth. No prior professional experience is required—training will be provided.
The Community Manager will interact with users, respond to messages, manage online discussions, and help grow a positive and active digital community.
This role is ideal for candidates interested in community management, social media, customer engagement, or digital marketing.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $100,000 per year, based on communication skills, engagement performance, and client hiring needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage and engage with online communities across platforms
- Respond to comments, messages, and user interactions
- Monitor community activity and ensure a positive environment
- Assist with social media posting and engagement strategies
- Track engagement metrics (comments, shares, growth, activity)
- Identify trends and opportunities to grow the community
- Support brand voice and communication consistency
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams
- Assist with campaigns, promotions, and online events
- Report on community insights and engagement performance
- Help manage user feedback and escalate issues when needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior experience required (training provided)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in social media, online communities, or digital engagement
- Comfortable interacting with users and responding publicly
- Basic computer and social media platform knowledge
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Positive, professional, and people-focused mindset
NICE TO HAVE
- Personal or school experience managing social media accounts
- Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Discord, or Reddit
- Basic understanding of content creation or digital marketing
